Where can I purchase Indigo Cat's products?

The best way is to come to see us at our shop in Sapa because we like to see people. It is important to us to explain and describe what we do and the story behind our products.

All our products are unique and it is difficult to sell them online. We know that people sometimes want a single bag or just a pillowcase but the prices of single products could be ridiculous to compare to the price of the shipment. That's why you will find below a selection of products that we will choose carefully and ship directly to your doorstep.

Hmong blankets are assembled from skirts that were handmade from the previous year use. A blanket is a very versatile piece that can be used in countless ways to enhance your home. You can choose to use it as a duvet cover to brighten up your bedroom, a blanket for picnics, a rug for your living room, a throw for your couch or as a unique wall hanging - the possibilities are countless!

Natural Hemp fabric - 5 meters

Genuine vintage Hmong hand woven hemp. Creamy un-dyed color.

The hemp is grown locally in Ta Van, a village located at 15 km from Sapa. Then the hemp is dried and the hemp fiber stripped from the stem and pounded, boiled, spun and coated with wax before it can be strung on an old wooden loom and woven into the finished product.

All year around the tribeswomen can be seen with hemp fibers wound around their hands, using what spare time they have to connect the separate fibers to make one use-able thread.

Width may vary between 30 cm to 35 cm.
